Ozon launches debit card by own bank for all purchases

MOSCOW, Jul 21 (PRIME) -- Marketplace Ozon has offered a debit card by its own bank to pay for purchases on the platform and outside it, the card will be available in Russia and some other countries, the online retailer said on Thursday in a statement.

“Today Ozon Card will be offered for testing to the first 100,000 users of Ozon. The option will be open for all from August 1,” the company said.

The card’s issuance and servicing are free of charge.

Ozon Fintech General Director Vahe Ovasapyan said that Ozon Card is a next step in development of financial products on the base of the company’s own full-service bank.
